East Wind Press is a private practice design firm. We design, produce, print, promote, photograph, and publish books, magazines, T-Shirts, graphics, websites and more. 

We also, love to put our design skills, experience and knowledge to work on interiors, events, quilts and clothing.

Picture above is me, the Chief Creative Officer and Founder, Sonya McCllough Lockridge, I began my design career, happily sewing and designing dress patterns with my Mother at the age of five. I also designed wood boxes and books, which my Daddy would produce for me in his garage.

With a focus on fashion and textiles, I graduated from O'More College of Design (Franklin TN) in 1985.

After, the east wind of 1998 shredded our white 1895 Victorian Farmhouse to pieces, I consecutively began two years of learning the practice of visual communications at Nashville State Tech and started my private practice design firm East Wind Productions in 1998 all while being a single Mom to my beautiful children, who are now in their twenties.

There is so, much more to this twenty-five year story of how a small productions studio evolved into a press and publishing house, but, please know, all along the way the Good Lord has been faithful to arm me with on demand publishing skills as I am a lifetime learner and I will never forget or stop talking about all the many ways HE has kept the all of me, in the Heart of Tennessee.

We also produce thegoodnewssundayshow.org and we joy to help women find their own niche during the month of November, with a semi-annual event after Christmas at thecreativebizmarathon.
